Basic in design, this 30" Steel Grate is exactly as it appears - it's to support your logs, provide the necessary air flow for optimal combustion, allow the ashes to fall, & to protect the floor of your firebox from excessive heat damage. And if you like the style of this, but need a smalle size, view our other offerings for the sisters of this Grate - 24" W or 27" W. Crafted in the US & composed of quality 3/4" Square Steel stock. Finished a Matte Black. Measures 7" High x 30" Wide (26" at the rear) x 16" Deep. Holds the logs ~5 1/4" from the floor. There is ~2 1/2" to 3" of space between the individual Ribs of the Grate.
